Terms and Conditions of Hire

Deylas Events White Soft Play, Bouncy Castle & Ball Pit Hire

By booking and hiring any equipment supplied and delivered by Deylas Events, you agree to our Terms & Conditions of hire as set out below:
Agreement Terminology in this agreement:

  1. Booking & Payment

A Damage deposit of £100 is required to secure your booking.
This is refundable once the equipment has been checked and no damages have occurred.
The balance must be paid in full 7 days before the event date.

Bookings are only confirmed once the deposit has been received and a confirmation has been issued.
Any changes to the booking must be communicated in writing via email info@deylasevents.com and agreed upon by Deylas Events before the Hire commences.
All prices are subject to change at any time, but this excludes any confirmed bookings with deposit paid.
We are based in East London, and we deliver to Essex, North, East & Central London. Free delivery to all locations within 5 miles radius of IG11

  1. Hire Duration

Standard hire duration is 4 hours unless otherwise agreed. (not including our setup and takedown times),Any additional time required will be charged at £25.00 per hour.

  1. Delivery & Setup

We will arrive 45–60 minutes before the hire time to set up.

The hirer must ensure clear access to the venue and suitable space for setup.
INDOOR hires must be in a clean, safe area.
If you are unsure of your space you wish to use for our equipment, please send us a photo of the area.

Outdoor Hires for soft play and Ball pit must be on clean, dry, and level surfaces.

OUTDOOR Hire for Bouncy Castle can only be on grass( for pegging down due to health and safety.)
NOT concrete, decking, patio or artificial grass.Please ensure clear access to the setup location and that the area is flat, clean, and free from sharp objects.
We reserve the right to cancel setup if conditions are unsafe (e.g., high winds, unsuitable ground).
If we arrive and Face painting /Glitter tattoos Station are set up, We will not be able to set up due to damages these products can cause to our equipment.

  1. Use of Equipment

The soft play equipment is suitable for children aged 0–5 years only. Older children and adults are not permitted to play soft play.The Bouncy castle hire & Ball pit is up to 8 years old. Please ensure that no one over these ages uses the Bouncy castles.

ONLY socks to be worn, (Children & Adults)
NO SHOES, HIGH HEELS, FOOD, DRINK, FACE PAINT, GLITTER TATTOOS , CONFETTI CANNONS, SILLY STRING, PENS, PETS or SHARP OBJECTS allowed on or near the equipment.
This can cause staining /damage to the soft play, Bouncy Castle & Ball pit.
Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
WE DO NOT EXCEPT FACE PAINTERS WITH OUR BOOKINGS.
If there is a face painter there, we will NOT set up.
If we return to find our equipment stained, we will charge you cleaning/ replacement fees.

  1. Damage or Loss

The hirer is responsible for any loss, damage, or excessive soiling of equipment during the hire period.
Any damage caused will result in additional charges for repair or replacement.

  1. Safety & Liability

All equipment is cleaned and inspected before use. We accept no liability for injuries caused through misuse or lack of supervision.
We are not liable for delays or failure to deliver due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g., extreme weather, traffic incidents). We accept no liability for injuries caused through misuse, rough play, or lack of supervision
Deylas Events recommends maintaining at least a 3ft/1m gap from obstructions. We do not accept responsibility for accidents, injuries, or damages during the hire period and recommend that the Hirer obtains their own insurance for coverage. The Hirer must inform Deylas Events staff of any damage, loss, or soiling that cannot be rectified.
Deylas Bouncy Castle 12ft x 10ft will need at least 3ft clear space on the side that you enter/exit and on the side where the blower is attached. The Bouncy Castle will require at least 2ft of clear space on each of the other two sides.

  1. Cancellations

In the event of any cancellation 7 days or less before the hire date the deposit is forfeited as it is non-refundable.
If 14 days or more cancellation notice is given, the deposit is non-refundable but can be transferred for rebooking on another day (subject to availability).

Weather
As the UK weather can never be reliable, we advise those who have a planned outdoor event should have an indoor alternative.
We will NOT set up If the ground is wet or there has been heavy rain the night before.
Wind speeds of 24mph+.
The booking will be cancelled but can be transferred to another day (subject to availability)

If Deylas Events cancels the booking (excluding reasons beyond our control), a full refund will be issued.

  1. Photography

We may take photos for promotional use unless you request otherwise in writing before the event.

  1. Force Majeure

We reserve the right to cancel a booking if we deem conditions unsafe (e.g., weather or surface issues for outdoor setups). A full refund will be provided in such cases.

  1. Acceptance of Terms

By booking, the hirer agrees to abide by these terms and conditions.
Deylas Events is covered by Public Liability Insurance, and a copy of this insurance is available upon request.

Disclaimer
Please be aware that all individuals using our equipment do so at their own risk. The person or organisation hiring the equipment will be responsible and liable for any damage or injury resulting from misuse, reckless use, or failing to adhere to our Health & Safety hire guidelines above. These guidelines are established for the safety of all users of this equipment, and it is the sole responsibility of the Hirer to ensure compliance. Our company cannot accept any responsibility for any injury caused to anyone using our equipment.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Please inform us before booking of ANY parking, access/road restrictions, height restrictions, or if there isn’t parking directly outside the venue. Please if possible arrange for near parking and/or easy access.In doing so it will enable us to be prepared, deliver and set-up on time and not cause any delays. It is the sole responsibility of the Hirer to ensure easy access to the venue for unloading and loading of equipment. Any restrictions that become in force after booking such as lack of access or parking due to road works must be reported to Deylas Events before delivery. Deylas Events only set-up and deliver to ground floor venues.
